Who are you? Who are you? I am the walrus. Well, that’s not entirely True, but sometimes, I am. Sometimes I’m also a Panther, or a Lion, or a Cheetah, or an Owlbear, or a Bear Bear, or a Cowman, or a Night Elf. But most often I am a Tree. The two authors of Treebound cat are, in fact, Me. (Two authors?)((Yeah!))
While not my first character in the game, Maerdred was my first “Main”. He saw me through some great times and by the time TBC came out, he was a pure raid healer. Who could EVER go back when they added Tree form? so, I leveled him up and healed my way through TBC and saw every boss in the game up to Gurog Bloodboil before abandoning him and leveling Maerrakech to hopefully do the same thing with some Cousins and friends. Maerrakech soon took over as my main and I quickly leveled him and became one of the top healers in the guild my Cousin had set up horde side.
A former Guild leader, Officer, raider, casual player, Maerdred the Blogger is an IT professional in Hudson, NH where he works with Family and friends in the Medical Manufacturing Industry. 27 years old and having been a gamer for his whole life, Maer put aside all the D&D stereotypes he held for the game and took a shot when a friend told him to play WoW with he and his wife. Three years later in January 2009 He’s glad he did!
Two full years after picking up the Game, Maer had seen his fair share of blogs, and utilized the info they gave out to make himself a better healer, and had decided that while not as numbers oriented as some (*cough*Phae*cough*) He had something to offer the community, so With the advent of Blogazeroth, Thus was born Treebound Cat!
